Peter Abdelmalak
- Position: Founder & President
- Biography: Peter Abdelmalak is the Founder and President of Love and Light 888 Inc. After personally facing the challenges of homelessness and addiction, Peter felt a profound calling to make a difference in the lives of others who struggle with similar adversities. While working side by side with great leaders at the Watts Labor Community Action Committee (WLCAC), he successfully housed many homeless individuals and families, igniting his passion for creating lasting change in the community. In addition to his work at WLCAC, Peter has collaborated with other organizations, volunteered in various communities, and advocated for those experiencing homelessness, reflecting his commitment to a collective approach in fighting this crisis. Grateful for the experiences and insights gained through these efforts, he decided to start Love and Light 888 Inc. to provide comprehensive support that goes beyond housing. Through his leadership, the organization not only helps individuals and families find shelter but also advocates for holistic solutions that address the root causes of homelessness. Peter's compassionate approach and personal experiences drive the mission of Love and Light 888 Inc. to empower those in need and create pathways to recovery and stability.
Maria Chavez

Gloria Hill

- Biography: Gloria Hill serves as Secretary, providing organizational experience to our board. A proud retired veteran, Gloria’s commitment to service extends beyond her military background into her advocacy for those experiencing homelessness. She holds a Master of Adult Education and an MBA (Master of Business Management), which equip her with vital skills for effective communication and organizational leadership. Her personal experiences with the challenges of homelessness further deepen her understanding of the needs of our clients—individuals and families alike. She is committed to facilitating clear communication and documentation, ensuring that our programs function smoothly and effectively.
Antonio Navarro
