At Love and Light 888 , we understand the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. Our mission is to connect you with essential resources that can help you navigate these difficult times.

The Countywide Benefits Entitlement Services Team (CBEST) offers advocacy and support, assisting individuals to apply for crucial benefits through the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). CBEST serves a wide range of individuals, including:

- Those who are blind or disabled

- Individuals aged 65 and over

- Veterans

Benefits available through CBEST include:

- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

- Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

- Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI)

- Veteran's Benefits (VA)

In addition to application support, CBEST provides case management services, connecting individuals to health, mental health, and substance abuse resources.
