 At Love and Light 888, we strive to be a guiding light in our community, connecting those living in their vehicles with safe, legal overnight parking options. Our mission is to provide stability, security, and pathways to housing so everyone can thrive with dignity and hope. 

 Safe Parking programs give individuals experiencing vehicular homelessness a secure place to park and sleep in their cars, vans, or RVs/campers at night—reducing risks like tickets, towing, or unsafe street parking. 

What to Expect at a Safe Parking Site

- Safe and legal overnight parking inside your vehicle.

- Access to restrooms and handwashing stations.

- On-site security for protection.

- Case management, financial assistance, and referrals to housing/community resources (amenities vary by site).

- Operating hours vary (e.g., typically evenings to mornings; you must leave by a set time each day).

Eligibility Basics

To qualify, you generally need to:

- Be experiencing homelessness while living in your vehicle.

- Have a valid driver’s license.

- Have an operable vehicle (screening required).

- Provide vehicle registration and proof of insurance (where applicable).

Admission is based on screening—call ahead to confirm.

 2. Contact for availability & intake:  Call or visit the site/provider directly from the list in the PDF (phone numbers and emails are included). Many providers handle intake by phone or in-person screening.

 3. Get your parking pass: During intake (by phone, email, or in-person), you'll receive a pass to access the site.

Always verify details directly, as hours, locations, and availability can change due to funding or demand. If you have a phone:
