 Domestic violence can include physical, emotional, sexual, financial, or psychological abuse. Safety is the priority—reach out when it's safe for you.

  - They provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals to local shelters, legal help, counseling, and more—confidential and judgment-free.

- Local/County Resources: Call 211 (or 800-399-6993) anytime—24/7 operators can connect you to LA County-specific shelters, emergency services, and support programs (including those for families, LGBTQ+, immigrants, etc.).

What to Expect When You Reach Out

- Trained advocates listen without judgment.

- Help with safety planning (e.g., escape plans, protective orders).

- Referrals to shelters, counseling, legal aid, or housing resources.

- Options for text/chat if calling feels unsafe.

- No pressure—support is available whenever you're ready.
